- Ordinary Seaman Course or Company Letter (stating that the Company will assume the responsibility of the onboard training). Just for new applicants.
RATING FORMING PART OF NAVIGATIONAL WATCH II/4 SUPPORT
- Certificate of Proficiency as Rating forming part of a Navigational Watch (Regulation II/4) issued by either Panama Maritime Authority or any State Party of the 1978 STCW Convention, as amended and not restricted by PMA

- IMO 1.19 – Proficiency in Personal Survival Techniques.
